Infinite Elevators

There aren’t many of these left in Prague and they may soon all be gone. We took advantage of the one in City Hall while we still could. A paternoster lift is an elevator that consists of a chain of open compartments that move in a loop up and down inside a building without stopping. The construction of new paternosters stopped in the mid-1970s due to safety concerns, but we’re adventurers. Plus, come on, they stop if anything at all goes wrong. Live a little.
