This afternoon, the creative writing capsule trekked out to investigate the Dox Centre for Contemporary Art, a former factory turned exhibition space dedicated to using the arts to illumine social issues and critical thinking. Sounds real serious, but there’s also a giant fabricated zeppelin you can walk up into: so, something for everyone.
Our students found that if you’re not (too) afraid of heights, you can come by on an uncrowded Friday afternoon and have the whole sunny dirigible to yourself. Designed by Martin Rajniš, the zeppelin is intended to represent a utopian ideal; we can testify to the utopian quality of this moment.
